- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
- Add the marshmallows to the melted butter and stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and quickly add the crispy rice cereal, stirring until well coated.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9x9 inch baking dish using a spatula or your hands.
- Allow to cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
