Ingredients
  

Cheese
  • 8 oz sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
Vegetables
  • 4 oz pimentos drained and chopped
  • 1 small green onion finely chopped
Condiments
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
Spices
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp black pepper freshly ground
  • 1 tsp salt to taste

Method
 

Prepare the cheese mixture
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded cheddar cheese and softened cream cheese.
  2. Add the chopped pimentos and green onion to the cheese mixture.
Add condiments and spices
  1. Stir in the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt.
  2. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and creamy.
Serve
  1. Transfer the pimento cheese to a serving dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
  2. Serve with crackers, bread, or vegetables.
