Method
 

Preparation Steps

  2. Pat dry the turkey using paper towels.
  3. Mix together the softened butter, minced garlic, and fresh herbs in a bowl until well combined.
  4. Separate the turkey skin from the meat gently; rub half of the herb butter mixture under the skin.
  5. Stuff the cavity with halved lemons and the remaining herb sprigs.
  6. Place the turkey in a roasting pan breast-side up; cover it loosely with foil.
  7. Roast for approximately 13-15 minutes per pound.
  8. Let rest for at least 20-30 minutes before carving.
