  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
Wet Ingredients
  • 1.5 cups Buttermilk
  • 4 tablespoons Butter melted
Optional Add-ins
  • 1 cup Raisins or Caraway Seeds

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  3. Pour in buttermilk and melted butter. Stir gently until just combined.
  4. Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 30 seconds.
  5. Form the dough into a round shape about 1-2 inches thick and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake in your preheated oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
