Ingredients
  

Sauce Base
  • 1 cup mayonnaise preferably light
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream optional for creaminess
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice freshly squeezed
Flavorings
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper to taste
Fresh Ingredients
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
  • 1 teaspoon jalapeño finely chopped, optional for heat

Method
 

Prepare the Sauce
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, and lime juice.
  2. Add garlic powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Fold in chopped cilantro and jalapeño if using.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
