Main Ingredients
  • 4 cups frozen corn can also use fresh corn
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese plus more for topping
  • 1 cup milk whole or 2%
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a slow cooker, combine the frozen corn, softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Stir until all ingredients are well mixed.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
  4. Once cooked, stir again and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  5. Serve warm, topped with additional cheddar cheese if desired.
