Method

How to Make Cranberry Banana Bread
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This step ensures that your bread bakes evenly and develops that golden crust you’ll love.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until they're smooth. The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful the bread will be.
  3. Combine the mashed bananas with fresh or frozen cranberries, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well until everything is nicely blended and creamy.
  4. Whisk together the baking soda, salt, and flour in a separate bowl. This helps incorporate the dry ingredients evenly.
  5. Stir the dry ingredients into the banana mixture gradually, stirring just until combined. Lumps are okay!
  6. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake for 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack. Let it cool completely for better slices.
