How to Make Cranberry Banana Bread
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). This step ensures that your bread bakes evenly and develops that golden crust you’ll love.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until they're smooth. The riper the bananas, the sweeter and more flavorful the bread will be.
- Combine the mashed bananas with fresh or frozen cranberries, granulated sugar, brown sugar, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well until everything is nicely blended and creamy.
- Whisk together the baking soda, salt, and flour in a separate bowl. This helps incorporate the dry ingredients evenly.
- Stir the dry ingredients into the banana mixture gradually, stirring just until combined. Lumps are okay!
- Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan, spreading it evenly.
- Bake for 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool the bread in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack. Let it cool completely for better slices.
