  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded Use rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables Peas, carrots, and corn work well.
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded For topping.
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup bread crumbs For topping.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and frozen vegetables. Mix well.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
  4. Sprinkle the bread crumbs evenly over the top, followed by the shredded cheddar cheese.
Baking
  1. Cover the casserole dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  2. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  3. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
