Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Filling
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup whipped topping thawed
  • 2 medium bananas sliced
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts walnuts or pecans
  • 1/2 cup chocolate syrup
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries for topping

Method
 

Prepare the crust
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined.
  2. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form a crust.
Make the filling
  1. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth.
  2. Fold in the whipped topping until fully incorporated.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the crust evenly.
  4. Layer the sliced bananas on top of the cream cheese filling.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the bananas, then drizzle with chocolate syrup.
  6. Top with maraschino cherries for decoration.
Chill and serve
  1. Refrigerate the cake for at least 2 hours to set before serving.
  2. Cut into squares and serve chilled.
