Description

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Russet Potatoes
  • 4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded

Instructions

  1. Peel and cut russet potatoes into even chunks.
  2. Boil potato chunks in salted water until fork-tender (15-20 minutes).
  3. Drain and let steam dry for a few minutes.
  4. Mash potatoes with butter and heavy cream until smooth.
  5. Stir in cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  6. Fold in crumbled bacon and garnish with chives or green onions before serving.
