Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the wet mixture until a dough forms.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop about two tablespoons of dough, flatten it slightly, place an Oreo in the center, and wrap the dough around it completely. Repeat with remaining dough.
- Place stuffed cookie balls on prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden while centers remain soft. Allow to cool on sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
