- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, salt, and half of the chocolate chips; mix well.
- In another bowl, blend peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients; stir until fully combined.
- Press the mixture into the prepared pan evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown around the edges.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top; allow to melt slightly before cooling completely.
- Once cooled, cut into bars or squares and store in an airtight container.
