Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly spray an 8×8-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- Boil peeled and cubed sweet potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and mash until smooth.
- Stir in melted butter, brown sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
- Top with chopped pecans or mini marshmallows, pressing gently into the surface.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and set in the middle.
