Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly spray an 8×8-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Boil peeled and cubed sweet potatoes in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain and mash until smooth.
  3. Stir in melted butter, brown sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  5. Top with chopped pecans or mini marshmallows, pressing gently into the surface.
